Having adopted General Motors’ new “C” bodies in 1954, Buick’s top-line Roadmaster received a face- and tail-lift for 1955, with a fresh screen-mesh grille, tall, bold taillights and gold-colored ornaments. Industry-wide, 1955 was a year of great color, and Buick was an eager participant, using the body-side “Riviera spear,” first seen in 1949, as a separation for two-tone schemes.

This Roadmaster Convertible is sporting a 322-cid V-8 engine that is paired to a two-speed automatic transmission. The exterior brightwork gleams brightly from proper attention and detail. This classic car is riding on whitewall tires with factory wheel covers. Options equipped on this car include a Selectronic radio; power steering, brakes, windows, convertible top, seat and antenna.

The current owner purchased this Buick from southern California approximately five years ago. While it was in California it was subject to a comprehensive frame-off restoration. Documents and photos; along with the convertible top boot and spare tire are included with the vehicle.
