This 1966 Chevrolet Nova is reported to be an L79. It was built in Oshawa, ON. The car was ordered and tagged on May 25th and went into production May 27th. Upon completion it was shipped to Eastown Chevrolet Oldsmobile Ltd. in London, ON. The Protect-O-Plate and documentation from GM Canada and Vintage Vehicle Services Inc. are included with the car. This example presents itself as one of 195 built for the Canadian market; it is extremely rare and documented.
This Nova is an older restoration, with additional work just completed. The car is presented in red and rides on blackwall tires which are mounted on steel wheels with factory wheel covers. The Nova is powered by a 327-cid, Turbo-Fire 350-hp V-8 engine which is paired to a Muncie four-speed manual transmission. It is reported that the engine has not been decked and the stamp is there.
