Originally from California, this 1960 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible has been the beneficiary of a cosmetic restoration completed in 2016. The work included new paint, convertible top and chrome bumpers. Presented in triple black and riding on wide whitewall tires with four new Coker 18-inch chrome wire wheels. It’s powered by a 390-cid, 325-hp V-8 engine which is paired to a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Power equipment includes a convertible top, windows, steering and brakes. The interior of the car is completed in what’s reported to be the original Florentine leather. Since its departure from California, the car has always been stored in climate controlled private storage. It’s reported the car has never been driven in winter and has always been well maintained. Current ownership states, “You can drive this Cadillac anywhere with confidence.” For 1960 Cadillac only produced 14,000 Series 62 convertibles.
