Chevrolet introduced the Chevy II Nova in 1966. The car’s design was based on the Super Nova concept car and was offered in four body styles. The high end option was the Nova Super Sport, which featured color-accented body sill moldings, wheel well moldings and SS badging. In 1966, Chevrolet produced 10,100 examples of the Chevy II Nova Super Sport. This generation of Chevy II Nova was produced through the 1967 model year.

This 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS L79 is presented in Marina Blue. The car rides on redline tires with Rally wheels. The Nova is powered by the L79 327-cid, 350-hp V-8 engine which is paired to a four-speed manual transmission. Power is sent from the transmission to a 12-bolt rear end. The interior of the car is completed in blue featuring bucket seats, console and a radio. The sole power option on the car is with the brakes. It is reported this vehicle went through a complete restoration in the early 2000s.
