Chrysler introduced the retro-styled Prowler for the 1997 model year. The wild design of the Prowler was reportedly inspired by designers and engineers who were given free rein to create a hot rod-style vehicle. A total of 11,700 were produced in 1997 and 1999-2002 including 2,746 in 2000. With the discontinuation of the Plymouth brand in 2001, later models were sold as Chryslers. Power is supplied by a 214-hp 3.5-liter 24-valve V-6 coupled to a four-speed Autostick transmission which was located at the rear of the vehicle for optimum 50-50 weight distribution.

One of twelve colors available throughout the production run, this Prowler is painted Prowler Bright Silver Metallic with a black canvas top and chromed wheels. New on an MSO, it shows just 137 miles on its odometer.
