This great 1959 Corvette is coming out of a long-term, private, collection. This is an original Inca Silver 1959 Corvette with some of the factory applied paint still visible in various portions of the body that verifies the original color. A full frame off restoration was completed in the early 1980s but remains in very presentable condition. The interior has been upgraded to white over black which allows for the seats to stay cooler when exposed to the hot sun. The color combination is simply outstanding and looks very nice from any angle.

The engine is an iconic and powerful 350 Chevrolet small block that has been dressed out to mirror that of an OEM stock 283 Corvette engine. The chrome displays extremely well as does much of the interior components. The engine bay is neat and tidy and collector maintained for local shows and Corvette gatherings. The chassis is also very clean and well preserved and is not coated with undercoating. The OEM "recovery" straps are still positioned on the rear axle. Also, the original Posi-Traction rear-end handles the power and is fed through a GM four-speed transmission.

This Corvette is reported to run, drive and stop exceptionally well with power to spare through all four gears. The dual exhaust system is newer and the tires are also in excellent condition. Ultimately, this 1959 Corvette is a great way to enjoy the classic car hobby in a coveted and desirable "straight-axle" Corvette that is sure to please both casual observers and Corvette enthusiasts alike - plus, a car you can actually drive, use and enjoy.
