The Model 48 V-8 Ford lineup was mildly restyled for 1935 giving it a lower and more streamlined appearance. Few Ford devotees would challenge Ford’s claim of “Greater Beauty, Greater Comfort, and Greater Safety” for its new-for-1935 models.

This particular example is finished in Washington Blue with a tan soft-top and brown interior. Also seen on the car are straw-colored wire wheels with wide whitewall tires. The vehicle is equipped with a 221-cid V-8 engine that is mated to a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Other features include a rear-mounted spare in a paint-matching steel cover, rumbleseat, luggage rack and dual chromed horns. This is a quite stylish and very popular car.
