“The Malibu Sport Coupe is a car that quietly, but emphatically says ‘first class.’” When the Malibu was first introduced in 1964, its original market was a premium sedan for families and was intended to compete with the Ford Fairlane. However, the musclecar war was raging and Chevrolet couldn’t ignore it. Soon afterwards, the Malibu SS was born. Later in 1966, the Chevelle SS assumed the role in the musclecar lineup, while the Malibu would continue to be a sporty premium model. Described as a nicely appointed Chevelle, the Malibu found its distinction through the use of bright lower bodyside and rear moldings.

This 1967 Chevrolet Malibu shows 32,160 miles and are believed to be correct from new though it should be noted that the title shows exempt. It is said to be a rust-free car with only one repaint which was done in the correct Butternut Yellow. The interior is nicely presented with black cloth, cushioned bench seats, carpets, radio and a three-spoke steering wheel. Powering the car is a detailed 283-cid V-8 engine that is backed with a three-speed column-shift manual transmission. The Malibu has factory installed air conditioning, dual outside mirrors, Rally wheels with new radial tires; both front and rear bumper are equipped with guards. The chassis is well-equipped with coil springs on all four-corners that cushioned the ride, combined with double-acting shock absorbers, front stabilizer bar and four-wheel hydraulic brakes.

This Malibu is presented in exceptional shape, and included with the car are the original manuals and Protect-O-Plate.
