The Defender model began in 1983 as the Defender 110, which reflected the 110-inch wheelbase, soon to follow was the 90 model which reflected the length of the wheelbase also. It wasn’t until 1993 that this model was available in America. Over the years, it has grown into a highly-respected, very capable and well-designed 4x4 for both off-road and daily urban use.

This defender runs a 4.0-liter V-8 engine and an automatic transmission. It is finished in Arles Blue, which is said to be a very desirable color, with a gray interior and white top. It comes well-equipped with air conditioning, four-person jump seats in the rear, safari cage, Tuffy pushbar, Pioneer sound system, BFGoodrich tires and front and rear grilles. This is said to be a rust-free example finished in a very desirable color, primarily due to low production numbers that utilized the shade on the Defender.
