In 1969 Ford aggressively upped their game in staying competitive during the factory musclecar wars. The result of the Ford team’s efforts was the Mustang Mach I. It was offered in five different engine combinations, with the most desirable one having the 428-cid power house. It was further enriched with visual upgrades like a matte black hood and optional shaker, the Mach I stood out from the rest. Other enhancements included reinforced shock towers, thicker sway bars and heavy-duty spring and shocks.
This SportsRoof has only 84 test miles since the nut-and-bolt restoration on this stellar car was completed in 2013 using mostly NOS parts. This is reported as a Factory R-code which comes fitted with a functional Ram Air shaker hood and extremely desirable 428-cid, 335-hp Cobra Jet V-8 mated to a fully synchronized four-speed manual transmission. It comes complete with power steering and brakes. It is painted in a desirable color combination Black Jade with a black interior that features front high back bucket seats and a radio.
It is reported that this Mustang has never been shown, providing the new owner a great opportunity to show and share this stunning car.
