1958 marks the introduction of the Chevrolet Impala, paired with the Bel Air line. The Impala for 1958 received major restyling from Chevrolet’s previous year design. The new Impalas were lower, longer, and wider than 1957 model year Chevrolets. 1958 would also mark the end of the sharp tailfins that Chevrolet had been using. Not only did the Impalas receive new styling, but also a completely new elongated “X” frame design.

This Fathom Blue 1958 Impala Sport Coupe has a beautiful tri-tone interior and is powered by a 348-cid, 250-hp, V-8 matched with an automatic transmission. This Chevrolet is equipped with many factory options including power steering and brakes, air conditioning, an AM radio, Continental kit, fender skirts, dual antennas and factory spinner wheel covers. The frame-off restoration that this Impala received makes it an ideal candidate for driving and show.
