Cadillac’s fresh, all-new styling in 1963 abandoned the previous highly sculptured and beveled look for a crisper, cleaner appearance. There were lots of flat surfaces and a near vertical front and rear end treatment. A tasteful facelift brought a new front bumper and grille along with more integrated taillight housing within the slim line fin. The side contours of the car also reflected the ‘thinner’ 1960s look. Eldorado models would come to be the most glorious automobile the company had produced. The name would be carried for numerous years continuing to mean the finest in American luxury.

This restored convertible is finished in Nevada Silver Metallic with a contrasting lush red leather interior with a white convertible top with proper boot. Powering this car is the 390-cid V-8 mated with a Hydra-Matic transmission, which drives this car effortlessly down the highway and city streets. Factory equipment includes air conditioning, tilt wheel, cruise control, and an AM/FM radio with power antenna; there is also power brakes, steering, seats, convertible top and windows, plus the side vents.

It’s reported that the previous owner meticulously maintained this car for the past fifteen years. Only 1,828 were made of this one year body design, and this example shows to be excellent throughout.
