This 1946 Super Deluxe Station Wagon is incredibly well-preserved. The paint, wood, upholstery top, glass, dash and even the keys and pin striping in the wheels are original. The car was stored from 1972 to 2003 when it was purchased by Nick Alexander for his collection. The 100-hp Flathead V-8 was rebuilt by renowned engine builder Tim Krehbiel and a 3.78:1 Columbia two-speed rear end was added. The original radio plays beautifully. The car was driven over 2,000 miles from Los Angeles to Hood River, Oregon and back in the summer of 2004 and received a Rouge Award from The Early Ford V-8 Club. Used sparingly since then, it recently made a two hour trip on the L.A. Freeways in 90-degree weather and the wagon performed flawlessly.
