Introduced as the hardtop coupe companion to the original Viper RT/10 roadster, the Viper GTS combined race-inspired styling with greater refinement, everyday usability, and enhanced performance while retaining the legendary visceral Viper character.

The fangs of the snake lie under the hood with an 8.0-liter V-10 engine producing 450 horsepower and 490 pound-feet of torque, transferred to the rear via a six-speed manual gearbox. This prodigious powertrain enabled the GTS to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds and reach a top speed approaching 180 mph, placing it squarely among the fastest supercars of its day. The GTS coupe also benefited from significant engineering upgrades compared to the earlier roadster, including improved aerodynamics, a stiffer chassis, and a much-improved suspension system. Visually, the GTS is distinguished by its "double bubble" roof and bold, curvaceous bodywork with echoes of the classic Shelby Daytona coupes of the 1960s.

Displaying just 952 miles at cataloguing time, this superb Viper GTS remained in the care of its first owner until 2023, according to documentation on file. Cloaked in one of the model’s signature color schemes of optional Viper Blue with dual white stripes over black leather trim, the car was further equipped with polished, staggered 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, premium sound system, aero poly ellipsoid headlamps, air conditioning, fog lamps, and a limited-slip differential.

An instant classic when first unveiled and still highly revered today, the early Dodge Vipers are prized for their unapologetic muscle-car ethos and supercar performance. For collectors and enthusiasts seeking a car that offers both brute strength and historical significance, the GTS remains an uncompromising and increasingly desirable choice.
