Monterey 2022—1989 Nissan Skyline GT-R

Nissan’s Skyline GT-R model is one of very few longstanding “cult” models whose proud lineage anchors the continued worldwide renown for Japanese sports cars.

An exceptional example of the R32-generation Skyline GT-R from its first year of availability, this 1989 Nissan Skyline GT-R is one few classic examples from the R32 generation of the model have survived to the present without major modifications to their powertrain or chassis. Powered by a 2.6-liter, twin-turbocharged RB26DETT inline six-cylinder engine with five-speed manual transmission, this example offers a fantastic opportunity to experience the famous, well-balanced “Godzilla” driving experience for oneself.
