After beginning his career washing classic cars at the age of just 14, Bodie eventually became the principal owner of Dutch dealership Real Art on Wheels in 2013 before growing the business into one of Europe’s pre-eminent collector car dealerships. He later oversaw the construction of a state-of-the-art facility just a stone’s throw from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, offering sales, storage, and workshop facilities to clients. Bodie joined RM Sotheby’s as Director of Private Sales, Europe in 2025, with Real Art on Wheels becoming RM Sotheby’s first Continental European showroom. A registered historic vehicle appraiser who speaks Dutch, German, and conversational French, Bodie will play a pivotal role in the Private Sales division’s continued global expansion.
