Launched in 2010, the BMW M3 GTS represented the most extreme expression of the E92 platform. Just 138 examples were ultimately produced, making it one of the most prized M cars in existence—but the model’s appeal runs much deeper than rarity and investment potential.
Finished in striking Fire Orange, the GTS featured a more powerful version of the standard M3’s V-8 engine. An increase in capacity from 4.0-litres to 4.4-litres offered an additional 30 horsepower, while torque increased from 400 Nm to 440 Nm. A carbon fibre roof, polycarbonate rear windows, and titanium exhaust silencer contributed to a kerb weight of just 1,530 kilograms, with coil suspension with adjustable dampers and huge six-cylinder front brake callipers completing the track-ready package.
This example was delivered on 1 October 2010, prior to being registered in its native Germany on 15 April 2011. It remained with its first owner until April 2021, when it joined The M Power Collection. The car retains rare accessories including a branded bottle of champagne, DVD user guide, and scale models. The accompanying service book contains seven stamps, with the most recent issued on 27 March 2023, when the odometer read 9,936 kilometres.
This stunning low-mileage M3 GTS is a collector-quality example of one of Munich’s greatest ever M cars.
