The range of buses, trucks, flatbeds, and vans known as the “T2” or "Düsseldorf Transporter" served working people across the globe over three decades of production. The sleek coachwork by Ernst Auwärter provides this vehicle with a clean and purposeful look. The two-tone exterior paint scheme consists of light green base and a dark green accent. Under the bonnet, a Type OM 314 diesel inline four-cylinder engine displaces 3.8 litres and provides 85 horsepower to the rear axle. The bus is documented by a collection of invoices and photos that chart restoration work completed between 2015 and 2020. Due to the rarity of replacement parts, many components were painstakingly restored by marque specialists.
