Complete with a radio, this Rheos helmet was used in the 1990 Formula 1 World Championship by Ayrton Senna behind the wheel of a McLaren MP4-5b, a year where both Senna and McLaren won their respective driver’s and team championships. The helmet shows signs of wear both inside and out and is accompanied by a certificate from Angelo Parrilla, Senna’s manager during his time in karting, to whom Ayrton gifted this helmet.
C'est Ayrton Senna qui a utilisé sur sa McLaren MP4-5b ce casque équipé d'une radio. C'était lors du Championnat du Monde de F1 1990, année qui a vu Senna et McLaren gagner leur titre de pilote et de constructeur. Le casque présente des signes d'usure à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Il est accompagné d'un certificat délivré par le manager de Senna pendant ses années de karting, Angelo Parrilla, qui se l'était vu offrir par Ayrton.
