The F-3 Ford heavy-duty 3/4-ton pickup came from the Ford factory with standard features such as four-speed manual transmission, full-floating rear axle, double anchor-type feather foot brakes, 20-gallon fuel tank and 17-inch disc wheels. The pickup being offered was referred to as the F-3 Series 9 / HY 8-foot Express and were offered with a 226-cid,95-hp L-head six-cylinder engine and came with a 122-inch wheelbase chassis.
This example is being offered by the second owner of the truck. It was stored in a barn for 30 years and since coming back into the light, it has received a complete frame-off restoration executed to original specifications. Among the work completed, there is new glass, chromed bumpers, stainless steel bed dividers with a white oak bed floor, utilization of the original pickup body, painted steel wheels, complete new interior and whitewall tires. This Ford truck is presented in green with brown interior, very popular and utilitarian tones for the period that still seem perfect for this era of work vehicle.
