Green background and red lettering are exclusive to this rare, first-edition poster produced by Marius Roussillon, working under the pseudonym O’Galop, in 1898. The poster celebrates the debut of Monsieur Bibendum, seen here attending a banquet and raising the toast with a goblet of assorted debris from the roads of France. Despite minor areas of foxing and one small repaired tear in the top right corner, the poster presents very well in its original condition. It is conservation linen mounted, framed, and glazed under UV-resistant Perspex.
