Furthermore, the car's odometer appears to have been non-functional for a period of time, the duration of which is unknown, and therefore the true mileage is unknown.

This sleek Ferrari is considered a milestone in the company’s long and storied history- the 1991 348 with spectacular custom coachwork crafted by the legendary coachbuilder Zagato. Of the ten bodies created by Zagato, this was the last one built.

The masterful artwork of Zagato’s styling is clearly evident in this 348 as the company literally rebodied the entire car in aluminum. Zagato’s treatment started at the front, replacing the bumper with a unique Zagato design that removed the central grill resulting in a smoother and more aerodynamic look. The sides of the car feature super enlarged air ducts for enhanced cooling. At the rear, Zagato’s styling included a redesign of the engine cover with a novel clear glass panel that proudly displays Ferrari’s 300 horsepower dual over-head valve V-8 engine. A distinctive triple taillight design and an electronically operated rear spoiler are also part of the Zagato touch. Perhaps the best feature on this 348 is Zagato’s signature double-bubble roof line that has been an indefinable and admired feature of their designs since the 1950s. The finishing touch to Zagato’s brilliant design is the custom OZ Racing alloy wheels and external fuel filler caps. The engine and all mechanical components were untouched by Zagato, thereby maintaining the factory’s drivetrain integrity.

With beautiful crafted Zagato coachwork coupled with the legendary Ferrari performance, this rare and exciting 348 is one of the most exceptional examples of a Ferrari from this era available anywhere. This combined with proper care and maintenance, offers a unique and rare chance to acquire one of the very best Ferraris of the period. Incredibly rare and unique and from a time when true coach built automobiles were few and far between, this 348 would be a significant addition to any collection, especially one with an interest in the work of Carrozzeria Zagato.
