Specifications: 98 cc OHV single cylinder, four speeds.
The Ducati 98 was one of a number of OHV pushrod bikes built to capture the entry-level market. Either semi-sporting or a less sporting commuter machine like this first series example bike on offer, it had sprightly performance. With 5.5 horsepower on tap at 7,500 rpm, the basic 98 had a maximum speed of 54 mph and was economical. This example is very nicely restored in pale grey/blue with excellent paint and chrome.
