Branded by the company as the fastest and sportiest Lamborghini ever built, the Aventador LP750-4 SV brought the already extreme Aventador to new heights by shedding weight, adding power and introducing new technology to make the performance it offered all the more exciting and accessible to Lamborghini’s demanding clientele. The SV quickly caught the world’s attention when Lamborghini took it to the Nürburgring to see how fast it would conquer the fabled circuit. Posting a lap time of 6:59, the SV perched itself near amongst the hypercar elite, proving that it was truly one of the most exciting performance cars available.

There’s no doubt that this incredible lap time was partially in thanks to its exceptional powerplant. The most powerful V-12 engine ever fitted to a production Lamborghini, power was increased to 750 CV (hence its new nomenclature) at 8,400 rpm thanks to revised valve timing and intakes, still managed through a single-clutch paddle-shift operated gearbox and Lamborghini’s four-wheel drive system. Thanks to its aggressive front and rear spoilers and revised aerodynamics, downforce is increased by an exceptional 170% over that in the standard Aventador.

For those looking for something even more exciting, the Aventador LP750-4 SV could also be had as a roadster. Fifty kilograms lighter than the standard roadster due to excessive use of carbon fibre, this would be the first Lamborghini convertible to wear the SV badge, and it certainly does not disappoint. Accelerating from a standstill to 62 mph takes just 2.9 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster than the Aventador LP750-4 SV coupé, yet retains its closed sibling’s 217 mph top speed. Despite losing its roof, the Roadster’s structural rigidity is retained thanks to Lamborghini’s cutting edge carbon fibre monocoque chassis. Finally, only 500 SV Roadsters will be built, making it truly a collectable vehicle from the outset.

Delivered new to the UK and built to RHD specifications, this particular Aventadoar LP750-4 SV Roadster sports Lamborghini’s brilliant Arancio Atlas (bright orange) paintwork over a Nero Cosmus Alcantara interior with contrasting Arancio Leonis stitching. Wonderfully outfitted by the factory, this particular SV roadster comes with a variety of exciting options, including the Dianthus forged wheels in high gloss black, orange brake callipers, the small exterior ‘SV’ logos, magneto-rheologic suspension, the fixed rear air intake in visible carbon fibre, the engine bay cross-brace in carbon fibre, black soft top, transparent engine cover and the front nose lifter for added practicality.

Inside, upon sliding into the black and orange Alcantara bucket seats, the driver is met with a multifunction steering wheel trimmed in Alcantara, Lamborghini’s Sensonum premium sound system, satellite navigation, a rear-view camera, the branding package, passenger footplate in carbon fibre and a fire extinguisher for added safety. Remaining in the UK since new, the SV Roadster has travelled just 1,677 miles from new and presents in virtually as-new condition throughout, just as show stopping as it was when it left the factory.

Twelve-cylinder, mid-engined Lamborghinis have always been vehicles for people looking to stand out from the crowd, and this Aventador SV Roadster will accomplish exactly that. With jaw-dropping looks and performance equally as impressive, it would be difficult to encounter a more eye-catching car while out and about.
