In 1994 Ayrton Senna joined the Williams team after Alain Prost retired. Senna was assigned the #2 car, with teammate Damon Hill running #0. With Senna’s arrival came a new primary sponsor for Williams, providing the familiar white-and-navy livery. While Senna would earn pole position at the first three races at Brazil, Japan, and San Marino, his first two races would end with retirement.

The third race of the season would be Senna’s last, as a tragic accident at the Tamburello corner on lap seven took his life on 1 May 1994. The 1994 Drivers’ Championship was won by Michael Schumacher, while Williams earned the Constructors’ Championship. Both dedicated their respective titles to three-time champion Ayrton Senna.

This OMP racing suit is the style worn by Senna during his final Formula 1 season. It may have been used for promotional purposes and does not appear to have been worn.
