With exceptional two-door convertible coupe styling, the 1948 Mercury Convertible was well-received and ended up having a reported 7,586 examples built in the 1948 model year.

Finished in black with a prominent red tuck-and-roll interior with bucket seats; the Mercury also has a black top boot. This machine has been modified with a modern V-8 engine that is nicely presented in a tidy engine compartment. The transmission is an automatic for convenience; other luxuries include air conditioning, CD radio, tilt steering column, wood-rimmed steering wheel, aftermarket gauges, louvered hood, seatbelts, gravel guards; power windows and brakes.
