K-code performance Mustangs are powered by Fords legendary 289-cid, 271-hp “Hi-Po” V-8 engine. Theses performance driven engines first debuted in 1963 in the performance-optioned Ford Fairlane and later that year, under the direction of Carroll Shelby, Ford’s 289 Hi-Po V-8 powered the legendary AC Cobra.
The 1965 K-Code Hardtop being offered here has received a concours level rotisserie restoration and is finished in red with red interior. The car has a floor-shift four-speed manual transmission, front disc brakes, AM radio, chrome styled steel wheels and dual stripe redline tires. Mechanically the car is “on the button” and ready for use. K-code Mustangs are proven investments, and examples such as this can be considered with confidence.
