Based on the Marzal show car, displayed at the 1967 Geneva Auto Show, the Bertone-designed Espada was to fill the situation of a legitimate four seat car in the Lamborghini line up, which at the time already included the 400 GT and Miura. It is reported that 1,217 cars were built, which made it the most successful Lamborghini model at the time.

This S3 series Espada is equipped with a 3,929-cc, 350-hp V-12 engine, five-speed manual transmission, fully independent suspension, remote driver’s side mirror, power windows, chrome wire wheels and four-wheel disc brakes.
