Addendum: Please note this car is titled as a 1973 Squire

The Squire SS 100 being offered is built with the renowned Jaguar SS 100 in mind. It is a splendid limited production vehicle that was commissioned by Auto Sport Importers, Inc. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and made by Automobilli Intermeccanica in Trofarello, Italy between 1970 and 1975, reportedly by Fiat technicians who were moonlighting evenings and weekends.

Fifty are reported to have been manufactured and all were shipped to the United States. Since they were bound for American shores, all were left-hand drive. They were marketed as having “unique handling and performance qualities.” Colors offered were red, yellow and white. The bodies of the Squire are hand-laid fiberglass and they utilize a Ford drivetrain. The engine is an inline six-cylinder Ford that is mated to a floor-shift automatic transmission. This example is presented in red with tan interior and black cloth soft-top. Other features include chrome wire wheels, wood-rimmed steering wheel, engine-turned dashboard, analog instrumentation, rear-mounted spare, power steering, windwings and a distinctive chrome grille with driving lights and dual horns.
