The final version of the pagoda roof Mercedes-Benz roadsters, the 280SL, made its public appearance early in 1968. A total of 23,885 280SL’s were produced during the model run making it the most popular of all the roadsters built to-date. This three-owner car has spent 35 years in Southern California and remains a rust-free car with original floors and interior wood trim. It is equipped with power steering, automatic transmission, and dealer-installed air conditioning. It retains its original radio, hardtop, and carpet, though the seats were redone five years ago. Included are reproduction books and some factory tools.
