Roadsters are among Ford’s most sought-after body styles from 1935. Finding a past national champion that has been carefully preserved is a rarity onto itself. This DeLuxe model was honored with an AACA National First Prize in 1979. The maroon finish continues to hold up remarkably well, as does the brown vinyl found throughout the interior and rumble seat areas. All the brightwork is in very nice condition, and the brown canvas top fits well. Amber Ford fog lamps and external horns, the last year that Ford would offer them, stand proudly on the front fenders, nicely counterbalancing the accessory greyhound mascot on the radiator grille. The interior is appointed with a Ford wind-up clock in the mirror, a banjo steering wheel, and a very clean dash and trim. Firestone wide whitewall tires are mounted on the red spoke wheels. A past award-winner that has been very nicely preserved, this ’35 roadster offers the unbeatable combination of Ford’s famed flathead V-8 in an attractive, open body style.
