Introduced in 1969, the performance-oriented Mach 1 quickly became the car of choice for street racers thanks in part to its relative affordability, quick acceleration and aggressive appearance. The Mach 1 was based on a SportsRoof (fastback) Mustang with design and performance enhancements that included the competition suspension, a hood scoop, and matte black hood treatment with hood pins.
From the final year of big-block Mustang performance, and more potent than most, this Wimbledon White with black Mach 1 is equipped with the highly-desirable 370 horsepower 429 Cobra Jet Ram Air engine.
