Rarely ever seen on American roads, the Model 10 was built by Ford’s United Kingdom division from 1935 to 1937. An enlarged version of the side valve engine from the Model Y was fitted and 96,000 cars were built over its two-year production run. The 1172-cc engine produced a then respectable 30-hp and the car was offered in body styles ranging from a four-door sedan to a two-door convertible.

This Model 10 convertible was restored by the president of the Australian Vintage Ford Club in an attractive color combination of red with black interior. It is reported to be a virtually rust free car with Bakelite appointments on the dashboard and full side curtains and foul weather gear. It is no longer in show condition, but is perfect for regular use and enjoyment. This is the ideal Ford for an enthusiast looking for something unusual that will stand out at any show.
