Finished in matte black, this one-off custom 1951 Chevrolet pickup truck took many years to create and is accompanied by the receipts that recount the build. This unique “rat rod” is powered by a rebuilt 1955 235-cid inline six-cylinder engine and a rebuilt BorgWarner T-5 five-speed manual transmission. The engine has been upgraded with a three-quarter race cam by Iskenderian, hard valve seats, Pertronix distributor, rebuilt Rochester carburetors, Wayne valve covers and custom speed equipment Offenhauser split manifold. Other mechanical components are made up of TCI brake and clutch assembly, a Tanks Inc. fuel tank, a Redtop Optima battery, Ventiques 16-inch artillery wheels, custom aluminum bomber bench seat and Ford nine-inch posi-traction rear end. This custom truck has a visit to the Bonneville Salt Flats on its resume.
