At the end of 1953, Autonacional S.A. in Barcelona produced a standard model, known as Type 200-R. This simple car, a two-seater with a soft-top and without doors, a 197-cubic centimeter Villiers one-cylinder, two-stroke motor with nine horsepower, and front-wheel drive, was up to meeting all of the challenges demanded of a typical Spanish utility vehicle. The four 8-inch wheels hung in the front and rear on telescopic tubes with coil springs and rack-and-pinion steering. The gearbox was a three-speed, without reverse. It had an ineffective transmission brake, as well as cable brakes to the rear-wheels. The body was aluminum.

In the mid-1950s, a steel body, a transmission with reverse, and an electric starter came along. This model 200-C was an estate car with a higher front body and wood side panels. Easily able to combine business and pleasure, it had a bench at the rear and seated four passengers. There were two vent windows, and the windscreen had a single wiper at the top, as seen on the example here, which is finished in red with dark wood paneling. The engine bay is very tidy and the interior, which is finished in brown to complement the wood but is contrasted by the cream colored seats, is also tidy and exhibits minimal wear. A lovely restoration, the exterior shows only minor panel wear and proudly retains its connection to Voisin’s original Biscooter prototypes in the style and shape of the front end sheet metal.
