As one of America’s most expensive luxury cars, the 1993 Cadillac Allante represents the height of the series. The example proudly offered today is one of only 151 for 1993 finished in Verde Flax. It is fitted with a tan leather interior, and is fully equipped with power steering and brakes, power windows, air conditioning, cassette player, cruise control and an automatic transmission. The odometer has only been turned some 42,600 rounds, which explains the fine condition overall. With a sticker price of just over $60,000, the 32 valve V-8 Northstar Allante was priced below a comparable Jaguar or Mercedes. Regrettably, it was economics that killed Allante, not the car itself, which reached the point in 1993 where it was absolutely a leader among any vehicles in the world in performance, handling, image, and presence. The potential as a future collectible is strong.
