From 1950-1952, the Bel Air name was used for model identification. However in 1953 the name would be used to designate the trim level of a car, Bel Air being the superior trim line. With this change the 150 and 210 series emerged as successors to the deluxe and special series.

Offered here is said to be an original Bel Air that has been a beneficiary of only one cosmetic repaint. It has been finished in two-tone, with Sahara Beige and a white top. The stylish Bel Air Sport Coupe also features a sunvisor, fender skirts and wide whitewall tires with chrome dog dish hubcaps. The engine is the reliable 235-cid six-cylinder that is backed by a column-shift automatic transmission. The car has a driver’s side spotlight with mirror, power steering, gas tank guard, non-glare mirror, heater, pushbutton radio and an exhaust extension. The cream upholstery in the car is said to be completely original.
