The 1965 Oldsmobile 98 was the pride and joy of the previous owner for 36 years before his death. A true survivor car which is well appointed with convenience features which has brought joy to the present owner. In 1966 the Olds 98 remained the top of the market series. There were five models including, three four-doors, a Sports Coupe and a convertible.
This original convertible is presented in white with a blue vinyl top and interior. Since this is the top of the line model it comes well equipped with power steering, brakes, windows, seat, electric clock, radio, tilt telescopic steering wheel, cruise control and air-conditioning. The engine is a 365-hp, 425-cid mated to a Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission. The car is riding on thin whitewall tires with wheel covers.
This car is said to be one of fifty cars that were built and used for the Miss America Beauty Pageant, it is said to be identified by the light blue top and top frame.
