The fourth Series of Packard’s Single Eight, the 443 was introduced in July 1927, all nine models built on a 143-inch wheelbase. Initially well appointed and called Custom Eight, it was succeeded seven months later by a less expensive and more basic Standard Eight. This Custom Eight is a nearly original car with good patina, but showing some wear and numerous signs of age. It has folding jump seats in the rear compartment, and a clock mounted in the side window moulding.
