Following a successful purchase at auction, bidders are advised that payment is due in full on or before 17:00 of Friday, 6 September. All purchases under €5,000 will be automatically charged to the credit card provided at the point of registration. All purchases above €5,000, payment must be issued via bank transfer.

The successful bidder will receive a copy of their invoice with payment instructions on Thursday, 5 September.

Buyer’s Premium
In addition to the final bid amount, a buyer’s premium is due on each lot purchased. This fee is clearly displayed under the ‘Additional Information’ tab on each lot page when viewing on rmsothebys.com and applies to the final hammer price achieved at auction. Please note VAT is applicable on the buyer’s premium, which is non reclaimable.

Taxes/Import Duties
Buyers are responsible for any applicable duty and/or local taxes on any lots purchased. International bidders are advised to inform themselves of potential import duties that would be due upon the arrival of the lot to its final destination. You are advised to speak with your local representatives in advance of the sale to understand what these costs may be.

All lots are available for in person collection from our secure storage facility in Tilburg Netherlands, via prior appointment only and after we have received payment in full, on the following days only:

Monday, 9 September
Tuesday, 10 September
Wednesday, 11 September

We cannot facilitate any third-party courier collections, however our logistics partner MBE Nederland will be happy to provide a quote for shipping. 

From Thursday, 12 September and onwards all lots must be shipped with our logistics partner MBE Nederland, with whom buyers will need to contact directly:

Buyers are required to make immediate arrangements for the collection and onward shipping of purchased lots.
