Bronze on a walnut plinth.

Working in cast bronze, stainless steel, and resin, sculptor Larry Braun focused most of his artwork over the past three decades on subjects from the world of motorsport. His style is best described as a blending of realism and impressionism, combining precisely rendered mechanical elements with fluid and dynamic organic forms.

Presented here is a strong sculptural portrait bust of the renowned Italian auto builder Enzo Ferrari wearing his characteristic sunglasses. Cast in bronze and mounted to a walnut plinth, the bust is numbered the seventh of a limited edition of 21 pieces.

Braun’s work has earned him numerous prestigious awards including the Peter Helck Award, the Meadow Brook Raymond E. Holland Award, and the Society of Animal Artists Award of Merit. Braun sculptures are featured in many private, public, and corporate collections around the world.
