The GT2 RS is the most extreme production version of the Porsche 911. The 911 GT2 first debuted in 2010 as a homologation special with twin-turbocharging technology, chassis enhancements, and weight-reduction measures to drastically boost performance. Since then, the elite model has evolved over several generations, gaining an even more extreme RS variant as it continually pushed the bounds of what a series-production sports car can do.

The fourth-generation 911 GT2 RS, based on the type 991, was the most powerful production model in the history of the Porsche 911 when it launched in 2017. Its twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six sends 700 horsepower to the rear wheels via a seven-speed PDK gearbox. Harnessing its astonishing acceleration—zero to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds—and a top speed of 211 mph, Porsche test driver Lars Kern set the production-car lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife on 20 September 2017 in a 911 GT2 RS. The record-setting car was equipped with the Weissach Package, a carbon fiber roof panel, anti-roll bars, front trunk lid, and other components, along with lightweight magnesium wheels which reduce curb weight by around 40 pounds to just 3,241 pounds.

This US-market 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS is understood to have been sold new in Florida and remained there most of its life. It left the factory on 27 November 2018, finished in a custom-ordered shade of non-metallic blue over a leather and Alcantara interior in black with Platinum Grey stitching. Besides the desirable Weissach package, the original owner added numerous other factory options, including 911 GT2 RS magnesium wheels finished in Satin Black, front axle lift system, extended-range fuel tank, Bose surround sound system, Chrono Package, LED headlights in black with Porsche Dynamic Light System, voice control, smoking package, and aluminum pedals and footrest. Custom-ordered finishes further set off the interior; these include painting the climate control panel and air vent surrounds, carbon fiber window trim, sun visors in Alcantara, and the air vent slats covered in leather.

Driven 2,386 miles from new at time of cataloguing, this well-equipped GT2 RS is ready to impress at any track day or cars-and-coffee gathering.
