Specifications: 904 cc fuel-injected SOHC Desmo V-twin, six speeds.

The Paso story begins with the Cagiva brothers’ takeover of Ducati in 1984. Concerned at the lack of product, they approached Massimo Tamburini, recently the “ta” of Bimota, and he revised a square-tube frame that Bimota had developed for Yamaha’s FJ1100 to come up with the enclosed Paso. The rear cylinder was rotated so that a single Weber 44DCNF 107 carburettor could control both cylinders. Mikuni carburettors were substituted in 1991 and finally replaced by Weber Marelli fuel injection from the 851. The Paso line was discontinued, however, at the end of 1992.

The bike on offer is the 907IE, the final version of the Paso with desirable fuel injection and 17-inch wheels replacing the undesirable 16-inch size, which turned in too sharply. In good original condition and with an aftermarket exhaust, this is the Paso to own.
