The last of the Norton parallel twin machines, the Commando began life as a 750 in the late 1960's, growing into the 829cc 850. The Conmmando, a fast and refined version of Norton's parallel twin, was introduced in the late 1960's. Early models were of 750cc capacity and were good for 120mph. 1973 was the last of the Norton Parallel twin machines. Equipped with an improved 828cc rubber-mounted version to combat vibration. Aimed at the US market and intended to take on the Japanese competition. Unfortunately it was too late for Norton and many others to regain the ground it had lost to the Japanese manufacturers.

Offered is a beautiful example of one of the last Commandos. Finished in bright yellow, the sight of this bike is sure to reignite the memories and passion of all Norton lovers.
