From the limited production run of just 559 stated examples of the 575M Maranello-based Superamerica convertible, a mere 63 cars were configured in right-hand drive ahead of delivery to the United Kingdom. Even among that small pool, fewer still may boast such low use as chassis number 144571 offered here.
It was completed by the Maranello factory in the classic Ferrari colour combination of Rosso Corsa over Nero leather, with the interior additionally featuring contrasting Rosso carpets. The final specification included wing-mounted Scuderia shields, red brake callipers, and the high-power audio system with CD player.
Imported into the UK, the Superamerica was handed over to its first owner in January 2007 via official marque dealership HR Owen in London. An incredibly low odometer figure—the car boasts a reading of a mere 303 miles at the time of cataloguing—was mostly accrued during the first year. Listed in the accompanying service book, the Ferrari was noted to have covered 262 miles when it was sent to JCT600 in Leeds for servicing on 9 April 2008.
Through to April 2015, when the car was logged with 295 miles, it returned to JCT600 on eight other occasions as part of a remarkable service record that has been handled exclusively by official Ferrari centres. That includes the £15,000 installation of the HGTC (Handling Gran Turismo Competizione) package in March 2013. This added carbon-ceramic brakes, a race-style titanium exhaust system, retuned and lowered suspension, a high-ratio steering rack, and a recalibration for the six-speed electro-hydraulic “F1” automated-manual transmission.
Touting just two private keepers—but only road-registered by the original owner—across its pampered life, the Superamerica was later entrusted to Stratstone Manchester for maintenance in 2017 and 2018. Most recently, JCT600 completed the latest oil and filter service plus alternator and timing belt change in August 2026. The corresponding invoice, which is available to view on file, totals £5,122. Chassis 144571 is further complemented by its owner’s guides in their leather folio, ECC Certificate of Conformity, plus roof protection and car cover.
As the automotive community looks towards Ferrari’s 80th anniversary in 2028, this rare right-hand-drive car presents Cavallino collectors with a prized opportunity to acquire a museum-grade, barely driven example of the limited-edition Superamerica.
