Graham Hill’s twilight years in Formula 1 centred around his own team with the backing of Embassy Cigarettes. Initially, the team was born out of his frustration with the increasingly midfield machinery he was handed to drive. This race suit brings two great racing names together in Graham Hill and Les Leston, both great friends. Leston was the man who introduced nomex into British motorsport and was a successful racer himself.
Adorned in Embassy colours, along with other sponsors badges and Hill’s name badge, this recognisable suit is believed to have been used by Graham during the 1973 season. This wonderfully authentic overall still features oil marks, further adding to its charm.
