One of only six examples built for that season, this particular bike was raced to a pole position and victory at Motegi with Loris Capirossi and would be his final race-winning bike of the 990 cc era. Also securing the lap record at Valencia alongside Ducati’s first ever 1-2 finish, it was acquired directly from the factory in full running order in February 2007. One of the most authentic and original MotoGP Ducatis to exist, this is a fascinating piece of MotoGP history that would be welcome in any top-tier collection.
