128x102x84 inches. This masterpiece of an English classical bar features a beautiful design, extensive exotic wood inlays, and elaborate hand carving. A focal point in even the most sumptuously appointed room, it provides a gracious setting to gather with friends and enjoy a fine single malt or sample the latest offering from the Napa Valley. Behind the bar, there is ample storage for wine, spirits and bar supplies, and beautifully detailed mirrored back panels. Although the bar itself was handmade in England, one of its most notable features originated in Chicago. Three etched metal art panels have been installed in the upper portion of the bar, carefully set so as not to disturb the delicate inlays concealed behind. These panels, made in 1929, depict a variety of automobiles, trains, airplanes, and construction equipment. They are significant in that they were originally installed in the Cord Corporation offices in Chicago. The vehicles they display are all products made by the companies held by the Cord Corporation. The inclusion of these rare, unique artifacts only serves to heighten the appeal of an already magnificent showpiece.
