This is a desirable European specification 330 GT 2+2, sold new via official dealer Gustavo Lombardi in Naples, Italy. It came to the United States in the late 1960s with an Atlanta-based enthusiast who enjoyed the car for many years on the road and in events such as the legendary Walter Mitty Challenge at Road Atlanta. In approximately 2004, after a time in storage, it was refreshed with a new ANSA exhaust system and fuel system overhaul. The original, numbers-matching V-12 is backed by a correct specification four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Never fully restored, it presents today in good condition, with a moderate patina and appealing, honest character. This practical and fine-driving Ferrari is suitable to enjoy as-is or treat to a straightforward cosmetic restoration.
