With style and dash, the 1934 Ford Roadster equipped with a V-8 engine allowed the driver to speed along the road, and looking good while they’re at it. The seat was wide, the top operated easily and a rumbleseat was standard. With all of these attributes, it is easy to appreciate the number that received custom attention.
Running with a 1934 Ford chassis that has been fitted with a well-constructed Downs Custom Performance fiberglass body and now running with a strong 350-cid, 400-hp Chevrolet V-8 engine that is mated to a floor-shift two-speed automatic transmission; this restomod roadster displays a very similar look to the original car. The undercarriage is nicely presented and features a well detailed independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes are fitted with the rears set up in an inboard fashion. The interior has an original period style with a banjo steering wheel, windwings and instrumentation. Other features include wire wheels, cowllights, rear-mounted spare in hard cover, rumbleseat, foglights and Lincoln greyhound radiator mascot.
